About the Festival
The Accenti Magazine International Festival of the Arts is more than just a celebration of Accenti’s 20 years. It is a tangible expression of the vitality of the Italian cultural heritage in the world. The Accenti Festival will allow a diverse range of cultural agents – writers, performing and visual artists, scholars and the general public – to come together under one roof in what promises to be a unique opportunity to exchange ideas, forge new relationships, and celebrate the arts.
As a venue, the campus of the University of Calabria in Rende (Cosenza) presents an exceptional opportunity for this inaugural Accenti Festival. In addition to the actual facilities, which include a variety of meeting halls, concert hall and theatre, as well as an open-air amphitheatre, the immediate area around the university is enhanced by an eclectic range of amenities, including hotels, bars, restaurants, shops, historical landmarks and tourist attractions.
