Alain Schroeder is a Belgian photojournalist born in 1955. He has illustrated over thirty books dedicated to China, Persia, the Renaissance, Ancient Rome, Thailand, Tuscany, Crete, Vietnam, Budapest, and Venice. Publications include National Geographic, Geo, and Paris-Match. He has won many international awards including World Press, Days Japan, Nikon Japan, Sony Awards, and has participated in numerous exhibitions worldwide.
