Gift

“We had a five-hour wait for the train in Genova on our way back home from Sardegna. I remembered Genova from my childhood as a very mysterious city. Roaming through the dark and narrow alleys, I found this well hidden and funny ‘gift,’ waiting for me to immortalize with my camera.”

“Gift” won second prize in the 2012 Accenti Magazine Photo Contest and was displayed at the Annual Accenti Magazine Awards. It was also featured at Accenti’s 5th anniversary photo exhibit held at the Blue Metropolis Montreal International Literary Festival in April 2012.

Florence Iff was born in Switzerland where she currently lives. She was educated as an artist, a photographer at ICP in New York City, and as a teacher of fine arts. She was the recipient of the Sony World Photographer of the Year Award in the Landscape category and was the PWP International Women’s Juried Exhibition first place winner in the Nature Category in 2011. Her work has been exhibited worldwide.
